Stoneware Fired at Cone 6 in OxydationElectric kilns offer an entirely different look from the other firing methods that we use. The glazes are often glossy (although they can be matte) and the color pallette is large. While gas kilns offer a reduction environment, electric kilns fire in an oxidation atmosphere. There is much more control, but without the fiery serendipity of the gas kiln. We hope you enjoy these pieces. |
